PLM SOPs: Design Sample Requests - Commenting on a FIRST LOAD - STEP BY STEP
Steps to take when commenting on a FIRST LOAD in PLM:
1. Identify the design you will be working in.
2. Navigate to the "Sample Requests" section of the design profile.
3. Once in the "Sample Requests" section of the design, click into the "In Progress" First Load that you will be making comments on:
4. Here, please fill out below fields:
- Review Date
- Review By
- Receive By
- Receive Date
You also have the option to:
- Select the Tech Pack that was shared with the Partner when requesting this sample set.
- Have filled out the Estimate Ship Date, Actual Ship Date, Carrier and Tracking Number.
In the Notes Section (at the top right of page,) please fill out your comments:
In the Measurements Section, (at the bottom of the page,) please fill out the measurements of each sample.
**Ensure that you DO NOT CLICK the "Sync with Meas" button.
In the Images Section, add in an image or images of each sample:
5. Once all is filled out and comments are made in notes section, change the sample status from "In Progress" to "Approved w/ Comments"
6. Click "Update"
7. You will prompted with below message. Click "OK"
Congratulations, you have successfully updated and "Approved w/ Comments" a FIRST LOAD Sample Request.
You are now ready to create a TP to share these comments.
9. Click into the Tech Packs section of the design. Once you are here, click "Create Tech Pack."
10. You will then be brought to below imaged page. On this page, fill out Name & Description, and select the template named "PROD: LA DENIM - 4PC TEST & DENIM LOAD."
In the description section, type the intended use of the tech pack. In this case, it is "FIRST LOAD APPROVAL COMMENTS - TO BE SENT TO LAUNDRY ONLY." Then click "Next."
11. Once you click "Next" you will be brought to below imaged page. On this page, deselect:
- All sample requests except the "FIRST LOAD" Sample Request - "Approved w/ Comments."
12. Then click "Create Tech Pack."
Congratulations, you have successfully created a "FIRST LOAD APPROVAL W/ COMMENTS TECH PACK" to be shared with the laundry.
