PLM: Design Overview - Design No. Generator

For Design No.s, the PLM system generates a unique number as outlined below.

The first character pulls from a single digit code associated with the classification selected for the design.

The following 3-4 digits are a sequence of numbers in numerical order.

Design No. Generator for all Designs (except Handbags & Small Leather Goods): 5 characters

Design No. Generator for the Design Type Handbags & Small Leather Goods: 4 characters
