PLM: Color - What To Do: Should I DeActivate The Color I Remove From a Color Palette?
While working in PLM, you will sometimes remove a color from a PLM Color Palette.
If the color was removed from the color palette(s) because the color profile is a duplicate of an existing/ established color in PLM, deactivate the color profile.
If the color was removed from the color palette because the color was dropped, but the color profile itself is still valid and unique, keep the color profile active for future ease of use/ to prevent duplicative data entry/ for clean record keeping and end to end product life cycle history.
