PLM: Design Color - What To Do: When I Can't Add a Color to a Design
When trying to add a color to a design, you may run into a challenge where it seems you cannot add a color.
It will look like below:

This does NOT mean that the color cannot be added to the design.
Instead this is telling us that the color is ALREADY added to the design and that the color is set to INACTIVE.
What we need to do is change the design color from "INACTIVE" to "ACTIVE."
Please follow the below steps to change the design color from "INACTIVE" to "ACTIVE."
Steps:
1. From the Design > Color section, click "Filter"

2. Next, change the field Active from "Active" to "Inactive." Then click "Apply Filter."

3. Once you click "Apply Filter," you will be brought to below screen. From here change the "Active Status" from "Inactive" to "Active" for the colors you would like associated with the design:

4. Once complete, click the Design > Color section. You will be brought back to screen below where only "Active" colors will be visible.

Process is complete.
