PLM: BOM Templates - How to Create a BOM Template

Please follow below steps in order to create a BOM Template in PLM.

Steps to take:

1. Click: Setup > BOM Templates

2. Once in the BOM Template library, click "New BOM Template" at the top right of your screen.

3. You will be brought to below screen. At this stage, please name the template, and ensure a "Department" and a "Classification" is associated with the template. Please have the field "Active" set to "Active (this will allow users to access and utilize the template as a tool.)

***When naming all BOM Templates, it is important we follow best practice naming logic. See separate SOP.

4. Click "Create & Edit"

5. You will be brought to below screen where you are able to build out material & material information on the BOM Template.
