PLM: Design Overview - Merch Groups

The design overview Merch Groups can be found together under section named "Merch Groups."

These fields are owned by the Merchandising Team.

These fields are updated after market, once a style moves into production.

In order for fields to be updated properly, team member follows "Merch Group Product Structure." (See flow charts in separate SOP articles.)

Once all fields are updated by Merchandising team member(s), said person will then "re-adopt" the design so that all data flows into coordinating fields in Exenta.

Some Merch Groups & Merch Group Attributes are exclusive to Design Type.

Below are Merch Group fields to be filled out for the following design types:

DESIGN TYPE(S): WOVEN, CUT & SEW KNITS, SWEATER

DESIGN TYPE(S): DENIM & NON-DENIM

DESIGN TYPE(S): HANDBAGS & SMALL LEATHER GOODS

**There are currently no merch group fields or attributes associated with this design type in PLM.
