Finding your IP Address

Sometimes, HR or IT will ask for your IP address. Here's how to find it!

HR will most likely be looking for your public IP address, to find it go to https://whatismyipaddress.com/ and give them your IPv4 address.

IT will either need your public or private IP address and will specify which one they need. To find the private IP address of your laptop. Search for "command prompt" or "Cmd" in the windows search bar. Once the window opens, just type "ipconfig" and hit enter. Your IPv4 address will be listed.
